About the Artist

As a child in the farmlands of Eastern Pennsylvania the parks and streams close to my home were my playground. In them I lived out fantasy stories from my imagination. Most school subjects left me uninspired until I fell under the influence of an extraordinary high school art teacher who changed my life and gave it direction. That direction led me to college and an education in advertising design and graphic arts. In time, with some additional education, my career morphed into architectural design, space planning, lighting design and retail store design at the head of my own company, Today I am retired and live for months at a time in two diametrically different areas of the United States, the Northeast and the Southwest. And I paint. In turn, each place draws me into an environment distinctly different from the other. As a result of this, I am favored with an unending variety of subject matter and unlimited painting paths to follow.
